Remote Year curates communities of interesting professionals, entrepreneurs, and freelancers from across the globe to spend either 4 or 12 months together working, traveling, and exploring cities around the world. Programs spend one month in each location, connecting with local cultures and business ecosystems, while forming lifelong, personal and professional relationships along the way. The Role:

Remote Year’s Marketing team is searching for experienced Visual Designer, to help define the customer-facing look, feel and details of our digital marketing products. As a key contributor to the marketing team, you will drive the creative direction of our brand. Your days will be spent creating visually engaging products in support of our marketing and sales teams, bringing our brand to life in order to solve our customers’ greatest needs. The Visual Designer will bring their own vision to the work while balancing the input of teammates and stakeholders throughout the organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Creative Direction - Working collaboratively with our marketing and sales teams, you'll be the mastermind behind creating the visual elements that demonstrate our visual brand identity but also support our efforts in towards specific growth goals
  • Brand Steward - You'll be the ultimate steward of our brand and will ensure the rest of our organization knows how to effectively represent our brand; you will ensure brand standards are held at the forefront of our visual content (including our web design and video production teams)
  • Graphic Design - Own the creation of designing compelling content to support marketing and sales needs that strategically convey the appropriate messaging (including downloadable content, advertisements, case studies, e-books, etc.); execute org-wide graphic design requests
  • Collaborate - Work cross functionally in a highly distributed organization to identify product owners, designers and other marketing team members assigned to each project

What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in designing as part of a marketing team, either as in-house designer or a marketing agency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field.
  • Experience working in a remote environment a plus
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellence in maintaining and extending brand identity system
