Remote Year is looking for an ambitious and talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive our next phase of growth. The SDR will focus on high volume prospecting, and outbound lead generation and qualification to support our Director of Sales and SMB Sales Reps in achieving quota goals and new revenue generation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-impact role. This role will be located in Denver.
Partner with the Sales team, supporting them and helping to further their sales activities, by scheduling live demonstrations with potential clients and maintaining their business calendar(s) with prospective clients meetings, demonstrations and follow ups
On a daily basis, contact potential clients, providing them with information about RY and scheduling meetings and/or demonstrations for the Sales team
Monthly, schedule a set number of qualified meetings to ensure the success of your team’s sales quota
Work with Sales to organize and maintain the sales funnel through Salesforce; entering detailed notes on follow ups, qualified calls and all sales related activity
Participate/Lead in ongoing sales trainings and meetings
All other assigned activities supporting business development
At least 1 year of inside sales or sales support, including cold calling
Salesforce or similar CRM experience preferred
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and be highly self-motivated
A quick learner, motivated to learn new things ranging from the sales process to sales technique to, new software.
A genuine desire to learn sales and a strong drive to develop a promising career
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities throughout the day
Customer focused approach and an ability to overcome objections to schedule demonstrations
Impeccable communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organization skills
Tenacity - we need a hunter with a never give up attitude to close clients and spread our mission of work and travel
Passion for the cause – we need to get every potential client excited about the unique way that we are changing the world, and you are the front
Ownership – we don’t like micromanaging, so be prepared to demonstrate fierce dedication and take ownership of your work
Organization skills – great time management skills, with an extra dose of client management
Interpersonal skills - this role is responsible for conveying the Remote Year brand to leaders at all organizational levels and future participants
